Val & Mitch’s Winter Engagement Session at Mer Bleue Bog, Ottawa

Mer Bleue Bog is one of those locations that works in every season, and winter is no exception. The wooden walkways look beautiful with snow on the ground, and when you get a sunny day, which we did, the light through the trees is really something.

Val and Mitch did an outfit change partway through the session, which I always love because it adds variety and gives the gallery a natural shift in feel. Their second outfit was matching sweaters that had a sentimental meaning to them, which I thought was such a lovely detail to bring into the session. Those kinds of personal touches always make photos feel more like yours.

We made our way along the walkways and took our time with it, which is easy to do at Mer Bleue, it's a really peaceful location and there's always something different to work with as you move through it.
