Véro & Kurt’s Summer Wedding at Camelot Golf & Country Club
Véro and Kurt’s wedding day at Camelot Golf and Country Club was warm, sunny, and full of energy. Everything felt light and joyful. Their September celebration flowed effortlessly from the first look to the very last dance, with so many emotional and memorable moments throughout the day.
The morning began with the bride getting ready at one of her bridesmaid’s homes. The atmosphere was full of laughter, soft pink robes, and a few tender tears once her dress was on. We stepped outside by the pool for some relaxed robe photos, which added such a fun start to the day. My second photographer spent the morning with the groom and groomsmen at another home, capturing their quiet getting ready moments.
Their first look was full of emotion. It grounded the two of them and set the tone for the rest of the day. Because they chose to see each other before the ceremony, we had the space to photograph their wedding party and family photos early. The bridesmaids wore soft pink dresses and the groomsmen wore light grey suits, both colours blending beautifully with the soft pink accents used throughout the reception.
At Camelot, everything unfolded seamlessly. After the ceremony, the two slipped away to a quiet spot overlooking the river. They held hands, took a breath, and soaked in the moment. We photographed a few minutes of that time with them, then stepped back and gave them space to be alone. It was peaceful and grounding.
Sunset was my favourite part of their day. The light was warm and orange, filtering through the trees in a way that felt cinematic. Some of my favourite photos of the season came from those few minutes.
From cocktail hour to speeches to the packed dance floor, the night was filled with energy. Véro loves to dance, so the party never slowed down. Friends, family, and music filled every corner of the room.
