Brittany runs BRB Healing, where she offers trauma-aware reiki, hypnotherapy, and practical tools to help people feel more grounded and connected. When she came to me for brand photos, she had a really clear vision: she wanted images that felt spiritual but grounded, and that showed the full picture of who she is and what she does.

We split the session between two outdoor locations and a studio. We started at Pinhey's Point and Sheila McKee Park, which were beautiful in the fall, the kind of natural settings that felt really fitting for the work Brittany does. We used crystals and candles as props, and spent time capturing the meditative, intentional side of her practice. Breath, stillness, connection to nature, that was the thread running through all of it.

One thing Brittany wanted to make clear through her photos is that reiki and energy work is for everyone. So we also brought in her husband, kids, and dog for part of the session, which honestly made for some of my favourite images of the day. It brought a warmth and realness to the gallery that I think represents her approach really well.

The second half of the session was at Quay Studio in Ottawa, where we shifted into a slightly more intentional, interior setting, still grounded and warm, just a different backdrop.
