Lianne & Justin’s Winter Maternity Session at the Arboretum, Ottawa
The Arboretum in winter is such a beautiful location for a maternity session. There's a stillness to it that I really love, and when you add golden sunset light and a light dusting of snow, it just comes together beautifully.
Lianne and Justin brought their dog Oscar, who wore a bandana that said "and then there were four" — honestly one of the sweetest props I've seen at a session. We got photos of the three of them together, some of just Lianne and Justin, a few solo shots of Lianne, and of course some of Oscar on his own because how could you not.
What I loved most about this session was the energy Lianne and Justin brought. Quiet, calm, and really present with each other. It made for a really peaceful afternoon, and the photos reflect that completely.

Erika and Jim's winter maternity session at Old Quarry Trail was their first time ever in front of a camera, and they brought their dog Colton along, which made for some of the sweetest photos of the whole session.
